Getting Ready To Scare the Trick-Or-Treaters

This is the mask I intend to wear this Halloween. If it looks familiar, then you are probably an Iron Maiden fan. His name is Eddie, he's the official mascot of Iron Maiden, and he is sure to scare the hell out of the kids this year.

West Swell, Green Aloe, A Whole Chicken & Some Dry White Toast

OK, this time there better be waves or I'm never going to visit wetsand.com again. This appears to be coming directly from the west, which is what we want here in Capitola (although a little south to mix with it would be nice too). This is what they are expecting for next Tuesday evening. Looks like we should have plenty of waves from Monday through Thursday next week. Hopefully I will have some photos of BIG waves to post on here...

If it looks like my aloe is on performance-enhancing drugs, thats because it is. The combination of NorCal humidity and constant chemical saturation have made this guy the Barry Bonds of aloes.

It's strange, but this chicken seems to be pointing south as if to say, "the beach is that way"... Unfortunately, I didn't actually have any dry white toast for this picture.

New Surf Wax Day!

Its amazing that the old Rockin' Fig is still breathing... I'm planning to ride that one out at Bombora when the swells start to hit the reef.
