I was thinking of leaving tonight or tomorrow for Huntington Beach, but this is the wave model for Monday morning. Think I'll stick around 'til then and drive down Monday after an early session in the morning
Charlie was talking about giving up on fishing the night before this... caught a few yards from shore at New Brighton beach in a kayak. Not quite as tasty as the Halibuts, but this Striped Bass made for a great lunch.
It probably looks similar to L.A. smog, but that haze is actually from the Bonny Doon fire just north of Santa Cruz. Capitola smells like a campfire right now, but we haven't seen any ashes flying around... yet.
This cat thinks he/she lives in my outdoor living room... and he/she has rediculously massive ears. It also likes to kill birds.
Is that a bird I see?
86 stairs down to the waves...
...and 86 stairs to get back up. It's the up part that I really don't care for.
This is the view from the bluff in front of my apt.Its about a 60-70 foot drop on the other side of the railing... might be good for flying a remote control glider? Or perhaps bungee-jumping or hang-gliding?
New Brighton Beach in the center, Seacliff/Rio Del Mar to the right. 
Not quite sure where the queensize bed is going to go. More to come...
